Following the Runic Calendar, this Guided Meditation is Active & Experiential (unlike Traditional Meditation). Algiz is the Rune of Guidance & Protection, which are the aspects focused on here. Since this Meditation is pre-recorded, and therefore not interactive, I invite my Listeners to play & pause this Recording a few times or as necessary.
With the help And #guidance Of one of the #sylphs, I have co-created A guided #meditation In which One becomes the sky (It can be a bit more Challenging than it sounds). This meditation Will be featured And explained in details In the upcoming #ansuz issue of the #runezine. More soon…
This post is the natural continuation of the previous post, in which I was introducing Dandelion as a plant of Eihwaz (you can read it HERE).
This 2nd part consists of a guided meditation/shamanic journey. I do recommend that you do it in a comfortable position, a relaxed state of mind & in a quiet place. You will need a notepad and a pen because there will be times in the meditation during which you will need to obtain some information that will be relevant to you. It’s also helpful to take notes of any additional sensations or details you might recall (memories do fade over time).
Last but not least, you will have to prepare a cup of (roasted) dandelion root tea (also known as dandelion coffee) to help ground yourself, connect energetically and simulate the brew that you will be drinking in the meditation (you can drink as you do it). It is not an absolute necessity but it is highly recommended.
Note to those who don’t know me: I’m a French woman, therefore, you will hear my accent. It has never prevented me to teach meditation in person. If you have trouble understanding what I am saying, feel free to play the part(s) you don’t understand again.
In Bavaria during Winter time, there is an old tradition still practiced nowadays: die Raunächte, also known as the 12 Rough Nights of the Wild Hunt. Though it is considered a Christian tradition it is deeply embedded in Paganism. During that time loose botanical incense is being burnt on the stove in a special pan (since I don’t have one of these, I use a small cast iron pan instead).
The Rough Nights are a deeply spiritual time, a time between time, a withdrawal ideal for reflection, inner work and preparation for the new year to come. The silence of Nature only to be matched by the silence within.
As the calendrical year comes to an end, so does another year in our personal growth. Take a moment to be thankful for the lessons, people & good things that have happened to you this year. Be proud of your achievements & rejoice.
Ask yourself, however, if there is still some unfinished business lingering. Do you need closure in some areas of your life? Now is a good time to do so, as you don’t want to drag old things/energies/patterns with you into the new year.
Now, ask yourself in all honesty if there are things/patterns/habits that hinder your growth & weigh you down. Things that you would wholeheartedly like to give up & let go in order to be a better person and/or move on with your life.
Write these things down on a piece of paper, focusing on the peace and the joy you will feel once these things will belong to the past and just be a memory. Keep the list short as these are things are more than just words, they will have to be followed by concrete actions in your daily life.
Now fold the piece of paper and burn it in the flame of a candle, feeling the relief of a burden taken off your shoulders. Take a deep breath, feel the warmth of the candle. Notice how much more relaxed and peaceful you feel.

In order to reach out more people (especially folks outside of California), I’m hoping to set up an online monthly interactive Full Moon Rune Meditation. It’ll be based on my current meditations but taken a bit further with my personal experience in Runic Healing and the unorthodox Runic Curriculum I’m developing.
I’m hoping to set things up by January with a required RSVP because I’d like to keep the group of participants relatively small.
Two weeks prior to the event, I plan to email the attendees a specific & exclusive Rune Tea recipe to prepare ahead of time for the day of the meditation in order to attune the whole body with the energy of the Rune and to take the journey inwards deeper & further.
I’m pretty excited about this project but I have a lot of groundwork to lay ahead first…
The last of the series of meditations on the topic of the nine worlds (for now at least). Tomorrow we will journey to Asgard, the realm of the Aesir and Higher Consciousness.
I learned a lot while I was teaching .
This experience will serve me as I reconnect with my work and refocus on my Runic Healing (no, I won’t give up).
After finding pathways through the harsh landscape of Niflheim under the protection of a Frost Giant last weekend, we are going to explore our Realm, Midgard, from a different perspective…Because there is more than meets the eye in the physical realm.
If you are in Southern California and would like to attend, feel free to send me a message.
I will be sharing some of the material I’m currently working on this Saturday, as part of my Runic Healing curriculum-in-writing. If you are in Southern California and would like to attend, feel free to send me a message.
I finished typing the ‘Tree of Life Activation’, which is going to be part of the Introduction to Runic Healing. I made a short video about it which was a bit difficult to upload and part of it got cut off unfortunately but most of the information is there…
